A: Volt Raceway Summer Camp is designed for children
aged 8 - 12.
A: We strive to run two camp groups each week and will organize them by age to ensure a fun and engaging experience for all campers.
A: No, we do not offer before or aftercare. Drop-off starts at 8:50 AM, and pick-up must be by 4:30 PM.
A: We require at least two weeks' notice for cancellations in order to process any changes or refunds. If your child is unable to attend due to illness, we are unable to offer refunds or rescheduling for missed days. This is because each camp week is a carefully planned experience with limited spots available. However, if your child must withdraw from the entire week due to a medical emergency, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss available options.
MEALS & SNACKS
A: Yes! We provide nut-free snacks and lunch every day, so you don’t need to pack anything. However, campers must bring their own reusable water bottle, which we can refill throughout the day.
A: No outside food is allowed due to our nut-free policy. However, if your child has dietary restrictions, please contact us in advance to discuss accommodations.
A: We take food safety seriously and ensure that all meals and snacks provided are nut-free. If your child has other food allergies or dietary restrictions, please notify us at least two weeks in advance so we can discuss accommodations. While we will do our best to accommodate dietary needs, parents should evaluate whether our meal options are suitable for their child.
ACTIVITIES & SAFETY
A: Each camp week includes:
- Go-karting sessions and beginner racing techniques
- Bowling games and skill-building
- Special games and challenges designed for fun and teamwork
A: Safety is our top priority! Our youth karts are designed for children, and all campers receive safety training before driving. Helmets are provided and must be worn at all times on the track and in the kart.
A: Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are required. Long hair must be tied back for safety during karting.
A: The safety of our campers is our top priority. Every camp counselor is trained in first aid and will provide immediate care for minor injuries (such as scrapes or bruises). If any first aid is administered, an incident report will be completed and sent home with your child at the end of the day.
For more serious injuries, parents/guardians will be contacted immediately using the emergency contact information provided during registration. If necessary, emergency services will be called, and a staff member will remain with the child until a parent/guardian arrives. We encourage parents to ensure that all emergency contact details are up to date before camp begins.
ENROLLMENT & POLICIES
A: Registration is available online to book. Select the camp week that works best for you and complete the checkout process. We will send out more information in the upcoming weeks.
A: Absolutely! Your child is welcome to attend as many weeks as they’d like, and each week will be filled with exciting activities and new experiences. We’d be happy to have them join us for multiple sessions throughout the summer!
A: Unfortunately, our program is specifically designed for children aged 8 - 12, and we are unable to make exceptions. Due to age and height restrictions imposed by the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA), we cannot accommodate children younger than 8 for safety and regulatory reasons.
A: Transfers to a different camp week may be possible, depending on availability and will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need to request a transfer, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
A: Refunds are available only if you provide at least two weeks’ notice before the start of your child’s camp session. Due to the nature of our program and limited availability, we cannot offer refunds for missed days or last-minute cancellations. If your child is unable to attend due to a medical emergency, please contact us to discuss possible options.
A: While we strive to provide an inclusive experience, our staff is not specifically trained to support children with special needs. We kindly ask parents to consider this before enrolling.
